Short description
HexArena is a free territory-control strategy game for desktop browsers. Build an economy, raise armies, and take territory from other players and bots on a hex map. Made by Matej Strnad.
Extended description
In HexArena, you build villages, produce resources, and train armies on a hex map. Send armies in one of six directions to capture territory and fight opponents. In Multiplayer, the first to control more than half the playable map wins. There is no time limit, and no account is needed to play.
Matej Strnad designs, builds, and runs HexArena. The game is unfinished and has no promised launch date. The Changelog lists releases since July 2023.
Creator and project history
Hexagor (2016) came first, followed by HexArena Classic (2019). Development of the current HexArena began in 2022. All three are hex-map strategy games by Matej Strnad.
